UTAH WAS BEAUTIFUL!!! Edmonton's tree were already bare sticks and the grass has turned brown and ugly already but Utah was full of color and warmth! It was so hot on this walk! This is my cute sister Katie. I told her that I was coming since I'd be staying at her house. I really miss living by her. Anyway, we went on a walk, WAITING AND WAITING for my parents to get to Provo!
Look, the water wasn't frozen and there were still ducks and geese there. Weird!
See what I mean! Look how beautiful it is. Blue sky, green grass, warm sun. We are all in short sleeves and were still warm.
My parents finally got there and it was SUCH a surprise to them and to my brother Cody (he's at BYU right now). Cody came in to visit Katie and the girls. I was in the bathroom doing my hair, the girls were sleeping. Katie called him back so he walked past and then caught sight of me and screamed and said "WHAT?! Seriously?!" I was like "Shh...the girls are sleeping!" He said..."I don't care!!" and gave me a big bear hug. :)
My parents came in that night. Katie and my kids hid in the other room. I sat on the couch with my back facing the front door. Tino and Katie's kids were on the couch too. My mom just saw my hair and thought it was Katie, with a hair cut. She came to give me a hug and then saw my face ans screamed too. It was awesome. I LOVE SURPRISING PEOPLE!
The highlight of the trip definitely was the guinea pigs. We deprive our children of pets. They LOVE them. Any time we were home that is all they wanted to do, hold the guinea pigs. Poor pigs.
This was at Chris's house after Spencer's baptism. It was so good to be there and feel the Spirit that was present. It really was a sweet baptism. Good choice Spencer. After the baptism we went to Chris's house and ate, played, and quilted the day away. I love being close to my family and all of the cousins. The kids were in heaven.

Then I got to go see my old roomies!!!! Jesseca, Jessica, and Jamie. We missed you Mariah and Camille!!!!

Our first condo. Shire Court #1. 1 bedroom, 1 bathroom. 574 square feet. TINY! But perfect for us. Yes, I creepily drove past it and took pictures. I might have even teared up a bit...I planted that purple flowering plant. It was tiny! I got it for my first mother's day from church. Aw...memories. Those were good, simple times.
David blew one of my dad's campaign punch balls up THIS BIG! It popped later on. LOUD.

Katie running away from this SCARY DINOSAUR! Really it was scary. My Kate was really scared when we first walked in. She was standing by the entrance, looking around with her hands clasped together up by her chest. She looked at me across the room, took a few steps toward me, looked at the dinosaur, whimpered, looked back at me. After doing this a few times she finally just ran to me. It was sad...and hilarious. :)
See. Zach didn't like getting close to the teeth either. Not going to lie. I had chills the entire time I was in here. So weird, I know. It happens to me at the Zoo too. Any time I am around big animals. Chills. All over my body. I think it happens around horses too.

The morning I left. I hate leaving. I missed Justin and it was time to go, but I really hate when fun has to end. I love my parents and had so much fun. I really do wish I lived closer to them, but at least we are able to see each other and talk to each other as often as we do.
When we got home, between the car and the house I lost the girls' soothers. Put them in some random bag or something just to get into the house, but then totally forgot where I put them I didn't find them until the next day so they had already been one night without them. One of the soothers already had holes in it from teeth, so instead of buying new ones I decided my babies are big enough now to not have them. We made it a permanent thing then and cut them both. The girls helped me cut them. Kara was totally fine with it, but I don't think Kate took it so well. She was confused like why are we doing this. I don't think this is a good idea! WAIT! Too late. It is done. Sometimes I regret it because Kate has had a VERY HARD time giving it up. She cries a lot at night. Kara doesn't care at all, but Kate was more attached. It has gotten a lot better a week later! She went to bed the other night "brave and happy" without crying at all. What have I done. This will be her first memory. Sorry Kate! Your teeth will thank me.

I couldn't get enough of them that day. I think it was the bows. This was the first time in a long time they kept them in! I am really glad I finally decide not to dye and spike their hair up. These last minute dish cloth glue gunned bows worked perfectly!

We were at Jason and Kamry's house all evening, so we didn't even light our Jack-o-lanterns until after we put the kids to bed. I couldn't go to bed on Halloween without lighting those pumpkins. They took forever!
