And the Winner is....

AMELIA!! It was close though. I barely won 2 out of 3 so all of those who think Zach is a Justin mini-him need to get your eyes checked! :) No, I think we have a pretty good mix! This was a fun program though. You should try it!

Well, that was shortlived!

Surprise! Here comes more snow! It has been sknowing her since Saturday! I got to see/feel how it is to shovel the deeply buried sidewalk...and the neighbors, AND how to get a car "unstuck" from the snow. It has been an eventful/uneventful snowy weekend.

LONG LIVE WINTER! Here's a view of our front yard. My poor buried tree! And the grass was so excited to finally be rid of the endless suffocation of winter! Hang in there grass.
And here are the huge drifts in the back yard. Justin is showing you just how large the drifts are.

So, what do we do when it snows? We decided to watch a movie! Zach LOVES popcorn and he even got his own bowl and his own little chair. It was so cute to watch him come to us for refills. Here he is smiling (?) I guess. He held this pose for a while. I hope it isn't his "smile for the camera" pose although it is pretty hilarious! He is quite the character.

Zach Explores a New World...OUTSIDE!

Zach loves the swing. Weee!!
Trying out the slide. He actually liked it!
Where are we going?Zach's peep hole.
This one's for you Grandma Low! Zach is officially part of the Low family, he has his own pair of Crocs. Well, cheap camoflauge Airwalk brand of crocs! They are pretty cool!
Zach got a ride from a friend on the way home from the park.

Walking/Running the rest of the way home. He is pretty quick!

Life at the Low's

Pucker up! Zach does this face ALL of the time right now.
Zach's become quite the "helper" around the house. Every time I get the vacuum or the broom out, he is right there with me. And yes, I am wearing SHORTS! Amazing!
Zach doing the face again, with some cute jammies on.
A BEAUTIFUL SIGHT! The best I have seen ALL winter. This is the last patch of snow in our back yard. It is 4 1/2 feet by 1 foot. Get outta here!

Monkey Man

Zach has discovered his LOVE for bananas. It is a little ridiculous. He whines for them whenever he sees them! When he was being babysat, he ate 2 whole bananas and still wanted more! He had already had one that morning too. What a pig! I mean monkey!

Birthday Bash #2- Our Cake-Eater

Zach loves his new car. We are glad that he does since it will be the only car we ever buy him! :)
Zach missed his afternoon nap and was extremely tired. He tried his best to humor us in eating some cake.

"You want me to do what?"
"Okay, this one's for you, Mom." "Oh, this isn't so bad!"
"I could get into this!"
"Oh, I've gotta get something to wash this down..."
"Is this messy enough?" "You think this is funny? Why don't you come join me?!"
"I'm so tired, and I am done."
"Really, Mom, I'm done."
So, he didn't get as messy as we wanted or as I thought he would, but it was still fun. For us that is! Thanks for being a trooper Zach and making our dreams come true! We love you!
I just like this picture of Justin trying to get Zach to look up. Zach loves his daddy. Justin is so good with him and I feel so blessed to have them in my life. I never cried on Zach's birthday, but I really did just feel so grateful for him and for what he does in our lives. Being a mom really is the best job in the world.

ZACH'S #1!

A year with Wacky Zach . . . to see extreme cuteness, click to enlarge.
Here is Zach our ONE YEAR OLD! We can't believe it!
If you can't tell, we REALLY love this guy. He has been such a light in our lives for the last year. We are so grateful for him and can't imagine life without him, really! I love my baby.
This is Zach right after he opened this sock monkey, Tom Dooly, from our friend Arnold. He loved it! It was so cute. It was actually Arnolds when he was little, so it is almost half a century old! (Sorry Arnold!)
How old are you Zach? We're working on it. Here he is with his monkey...still! One of Zach's favorite things about turning one is his new carseat! He loves facing forward. The first time I put him in there he kept looking at me as if he were saying "Wow! This is cool Mom!"
And here is Zach's interesting and kinda cute cake! I wanted to make a belly cake, because when Zach walks around he really leads with his little potbelly. It is pretty cute to watch him. The face is really weird on this cake, but I had to add the marshmellow teeth because he has eight and that is what you see when he smiles!
