I know, it was almost a month ago...but I'm finally just getting there!!! Happy Mother's Day to me!!! And you!!! And you, mom and mom-in-law!!! And you grandmas!!! I wouldn't be or know how to be a mom with out all of you, SO...thanks.
I really, really do love being a mom. Growing up I looked forward to it and now I am so glad it is finally here.It is a huge responsibility, a huge challenge, most times a huge mess, and above all huge blessing. Not going to lie, this last bit has been VERY busy and hard, but I am learning that it all about how I perceive it. The mind is a powerful thing. If I act selfishly or dwell on the negative, that is just how life feels...negative...no fun...woe is me. When I make the effort to see the positive and celebrate it, forget myself and GIVE, life is so much brighter and I feel more loved, loveable, and able to love! I am determined to do better in ENJOYING this journey, living it up, calming down, and just being.

First I got to just lay in bed until breakfast, cards, and 3 children came to me! I enjoy the few bites of Justin's DELICIOUS EGGS and TOAST that I got. I think that I had strawberries and bananas and milk, too. The kids could tell you.
I got some pretty sweet (as in awesome) cards
FROM JUSTIN:
HA HA HA HA HA!!!
Justin said it would have been even more perfect if there was a TV with Sports Centre on it.
(and no, that isn't misspelled. That is how us weird Canadian's spell things like that.)
FROM THE KIDS:

Then the kids left, so I slipped into our jet tub that NEVER gets used. You can bet on what happened next...

Yep, and don't I look happy?!
I knew when I was getting in that that would happen. It was actually a lot of fun.It reminded me of that children's book "Five Minutes Peace." A must read for parents with multiple children. :)

Us after church.
I love these kiddos.
Happy Mother's Day!

What the kids did all day. Watched movies, ate popcorn and hung out amid the junk in the living room in their pjs. Pretty sure this was taken around 6 pm...yikes.
Zach got a fat lip. I think Kara stood up while he was hovering over her or something and her head hit his lip, I think...(this happened over a month ago...I forget!)...anyway...he was pretty distraught.
The best part of getting a fat lip. Popsicles for breakfast.

Zach had to try out his new umbrella Avery gave him for his birthday, so we got our boots on and we went for a walk to Kamry's and splashed in puddles. (P.S. see my daffodils in the background! Aren't they gorgeous! It was so fun to have them...they are shrivelling now...)

My beautiful daffodils I planted last October came up. I LOVE tulips and daffodils!
"Here Kamry!" HA HA!

In the nose...
Over the nose...
On the nose...
I think we had taquitos this night...salsa and sour cream to dip them in. The girls love dipping everything, and then they usually lick their plates. :) Pretty cute!

Lick!

"Mmmm... mom, this is SOOO good! Dee dyooo!"

Giddy-Up!
