That's right folks...Baby Low #4 is on it's way! And there is ONLY ONE this time!! Due April 28, 2012!!

I seriously can't believe I'm on my 4th kid already! Having twins sure sped up the process!

Conference Weekend

 I love General Conference. This Conference weekend was really neat for me. Especially the Saturday sessions. Justin's little brother Dallin is on the varsity volleyball team in Cardston. They had a tourney that weekend in Lethbridge that started with an early morning game and then an early afternoon game. Justin went to the morning game and on his way home called to see if the boys could come hang out here for a few hours during their break to watch conference. I was expecting the call, oddly. It was so awesome! Justin picked up some donuts and muffins on the way home and then they came! Nice, quiet, good boys. And they watched. And listened. And I cried. Pregnancy hormones, maybe. But it wasn't solely the hormones. When those boys walked in I really felt the Spirit enter the room, very strongly. I could have held it back, but I looked over at Justin's Dad who was sitting on the couch with wiping a tear from his eye (I think. Don't tell me otherwise if it wasn't a tear Brian, okay. I love my memory just the way it is!). He is some of these boys' Stake President. I just thought how encouraging to see these young men making a good choice and making strides to develop and strengthen their testimony of Jesus Christ. And in a few short years hopefully all of them will be out in the mission field spreading the gospel that Jesus is our Savior and we have a prophet on the earth today. I will never forget these moments of this conference weekend. There ARE still good kids around! I saw them! I met them! And as they walked out I told them how great they were and how happy I was that they were at my home. They may have thought I was some crazy young mom, but I really appreciated their presence and the Spirit they brought to my home and heart. Thanks for coming boys. :) Maybe I can move to Cardston at last.

 After the second session I bipped up to Calgary to surprise Alysha for her 30th birthday. Maren, Sarah, and Barb came down from Edmonton and I came up from good ol' Lethbridge. I really miss these girls. A lot. I miss knowing that I can just call them and hang out while our kiddos play, or just talk. It was so nice to get out, have a girls night, go to dinner, paint our nails, look at magazines, eat candy, talk til 2 am...whoops. Anyway, Maren blogged more pics and details. Yay for the quick, fun weekend!!!

 And Sarah, I had to put this one in. I especially love you and your beautiful face. :)

Here's just a random shot to end off the post. My girls have enough hair to braid!!! It is so fine it won't stay in very good without lots of hair spray, but it gives hope.

A Beach?!! In Canada?!!

One LATE September day (the 24th!) we got a hot one! Love Indian Summers. I had heard about Wally's Beach and wanted to try it out. I also knew this was probably my last chance so even though Justin was away at a conference I packed up the kiddos and headed out to the St. Mary's Reservoir with Pam Heggie and her sister and kids. Between the 3 of us there were 10 kids I think! Apparently, earlier in the summer this beach was tiny and mosquito infested, but this late summer day the water had gone down a bit...A LOT and there was TONS of space for our kiddos to just run and play! The best decision I ever made to go that day. The kids seriously played for hours. The other awesome thing about this place was that it was clean and ankle/knee high for SO far. The kids could just run, splash, and play and we could relax. Loved it. This just gave me a bit of hope. You don't HAVE to live in California to have a good time at the beach. The kids ask to go there all the time still.

 I really dislike it when kids find and play with feathers...yuck. So dirty.

This was Zach and Kate's favorite part of the day by far. Pam's hubby Derrick found that if you wiggled in the beach sand you sank. They had fun with it for a while. Then the kids got into their big holes and played around. Zach LOVES mud so this was perfect for him. Too bad we discovered this so close to when we had to leave. I think they got dirty enough. :)



 Kara even put her suit back on after being cleaned up because she could tell she was missing out on some serious fun.

What a fun day at the beach! This makes me miss SUMMER!!!!

Grandparent's Day

As you all know, Grandparent's Day was a few Sundays ago. :) Okay, maybe you didn't know that. I just happened to see it on my calendar and thought it would be a good way to introduce my next photos...Yay for Grandparents!

 Justin's parents were in town for Dallin's volleyball tournament. They met us at the park after the tourney and spent a bit of time playing. I love living closer to them, seeing them more often, and just doing simple things like this with them. The kids LOVE it too and are always asking to go to their house.

 And although my parents live far away and I wish we could see and play with them more, I am thankful for Skype and technology that keeps us close. My kids have better attention spans than they used to and actually sit and talk and listen to Papa and Mer Mer, my mom and dad. Dad read them a story and they got to see and "pet" their dog, cat, and even a chicken! The HIGHLIGHT of their night. They still talk about it. Thanks for bringing in the chicken Dad! :)

Fall Festival

Our Stake here in Lethbridge had a massive Fall Festival party. Hamburgers, hot dogs, corn, home made root beer, cotton candy, 5 inflatable bounce houses/slides, carnival games, a balloon man, and face painting! CRAZY! But fun!

 Zach saw a kid with a Spider Man face and wanted that. I don't think he really knows who it is, but he knows he's some kind of super hero and that is good enough for him.

 Kara went for a more feminine yellow sparkly butterfly. Yellow is her favorite color.

 We asked Kate is she wanted a kitty? A butterfly? A puppy? Spiderman? Yeah, SPIDERMAN!

 She rocked it. I LOVE this picture. I love this girl!

They are all looking?! At the same time! What? Of course it is when they are painted like Spidey!

Our Apple Tree!

One of the cool things about our Lethbridge home that I was really excited about was this great apple tree in our back yard. I had visions of tree branches sagging to the ground from the weight of all of the delicious juicy apples. Visions of making applesauce, pie filling, caramel apples, and whatever else you can make with them. Well, I thought there would at least be buds? Flowers? Blossoms? Nothing. Maybe they happened before we got here? I don't know anything about apple growth. One day my friend Heather reached up and pulled something down. What?!! We have apples!!! I was so excited. We searched the tree.

Yes. We had apples. 5 in total.

It's a start. Maybe next year.

WARNING: The following picture are very dirty. Some mother's may feel faint. But sometimes you've just got to PLAY IN THE MUD!!!!!

 Zach is a major boy. Zach LOVES dirt and mud. He loves digging. Mudballs. Messes...I usually try to steer clear of this, but one of what I though would be the last hot summer days I let Zach have 2 full buckets of water and let him go at it in the freshly weeded empty flower beds in our back yard. He was in HEAVEN!

Calgary!

We were able to go stay in Calgary while Justin had another course or retreat or conference or whatever it was. We had fun in our awesome hotel room (a suite!!) with a water slide. We also had so much fun visiting some Calgary friends. We saw the Sladeks, the Cahoons, and even the Browns!

 When I was checking out this nice man pushed my stuff out to the car and gave the kids a ride back in too. I had to make sure I wasn't forgetting anything. Good thing too! We forgot Kara! Just kidding...she was too shy to get on the cart that the worker was pushing so I had to carry her.

 After checking out we went to visit my friend Katherine. My Zach and her Sebastian (or C-Bass as we like to call him) are 2 days apart! We met in Edmonton just on a walk when I first moved there. She is great and I was SO sad when they moved away from us!

 Katherine is a great gardener! This was ONE of her amazing tomato plants. I think the kids had more fun picking them and throwing them off the deck than eating them. No, no.

 Gotcha! Katherine snuck this picture while I was out of the room...and now I snuck it on my blog! :)

 Our "twins". 2 days apart. I know Zach has grown up, because I've watched him. But it was so weird to see a 4 1/2 year old Sebastian! What a cutie.

School Boy!





Zach's a school boy! He started preschool on September 7, 2011. I got to go the first day with him just to see what it would be like and to ease him in to it. I think he was totally ready to go by himself. He was kind of like, why are you coming? :) It was fun to watch him explore and just be.

He loved these blocks. We played with them for a long time.

He approves. This kid is funny. I love when he does these little things. Everything's great Mom. :)

He loved it! Yay!!! I am excited for him to have his time there, and for me to have some time too. It has been really hard to occupy him while the girl's are napping now that he doesn't take naps anymore. He is in afternoon preschool 3 times a week (which almost seems like too much to me!) so he is there when the girls nap. He LOVES painting and playing and they do a lot of crafts. It is working out really well. Yay for school! Here's to the next 20 years of it. Have fun Zach!
