Half a Year Already?!!!
I can't believe the girls are already 6 months old! It is a good thing and a sad thing, but mostly good. Keep growing up! At least until you sleep through the night. These girls are both so smiley and full of personality. They are just so sweet and I love being their mother! I just can't believe that they'll be 1 in another of their lifetimes...if that makes sense. Anyway, yay for being 6 months. You know what that means though, only 6 more shopping months before Christmas! Get going!!
Happy Father's Day!
My father-in-law is a smart service oriented man. He knows how to play and is willing to drop anything and help at any time. He really listens and gives great solid advice. Justin says his favorite thing about his dad is that he is wise.
And Justin Scott, the Daddy to my kids, is doing such a good job so far. He exudes happiness. I don't know how else to describe it. He is pure and willing to help whenever I ask. He is determined and disciplined in his life. He loves his kids, plays with them, and wants his family to be happy. He is healthy, helpful, and happy. I really couldn't ask for more. Thank you for all of your help with the kids even through your extremely busy schedule Justin. I love you and am SO happy you are my babies' daddy! :)

News and Faces!!!
FOOD!!!
The girls got to eat!!! I can't believe they are getting so old so fast. For a few weeks now though they have been watching us, following food from our plates to our mouths, wanting to intercept it. So, we thought we'd give some cereal a try. We got THE FUNNIEST video on our real camera. The little camera only got the normal not-so-funny part. After it shut off Zach said he wanted to try some, so I let him. He tasted it and out of reflex did the dry heave face. He thought it was so gross! Then we all started laughing, so he buried his face in his hands and started chuckling too, like he knew he was so funny. What a jokester. Man, I wish we got it on camera so you could see it. I don't know how to condense my camera footage though. Sorry!!! ;)
Justin's Birthday!!! The BIG 26!
We barbecued shishkabobs and had fresh pineapple and this yummy frozen strawberry desert that Justin's mom used to make. Happy Birthday honeybuns!
Some of our party guests. We were lucky enough to have Jeff and Maria Hughes stay at our house. They are our old neighbors that moved to Medicine Hat. Anyway, here are their boys Thatcher and Carson. Fun times.
I have been waiting for the girls to be able to wear these dresses and shoes since January and they finally fit. This picture was mainly to show how cute they looked, but I thought that Justin should hold them since it was his birthday! :) So, here is the Birthday boy and his girlios. So cute.
The problem with taking pictures of two babies: Kate looks so cute in this one and Kara...well...
Then they switch and Kara gets the oh so cute award and Kate gets the "that's one of the awesomest faces caught on camera" award. She was blowing raspberries. SO FUNNY! Anyway, thank goodness for digital cameras.
Well, That Stinks...

May in Cali-For-Ni-A!
DAY 1
CALIFORNIA HERE WE COME!
Jason and Kamry, my awesome brother and sister-in-law that live right around the corner from us now, were taking a vacation down to California and let me...and my 3 children tag along! We were able to stay from May 14-23 and party in SoCal. We were actually thrilled to hear that the weather back here in Edmonton was cold, overcast, and SNOWY while we were gone! Our winter get away in May. HA! Anyways, thanks SO much guys. We had a great time and I obviously couldn't have done it without you.
Pretty sweet set up if you ask me! Luckily Westjet has TVs on the back of each seat so Zach watched cartoons, ate snacks, and drank juice all the way to CA! Anything to keep him happy and me sane. :)
(Madison, Sydney, Brenna, Laneah, Kaela, Reagan, Michael, Baby Dallin and Carrie for supervising, and Angie and Cameron for picking us up at the airport and bearing the little artists!)
Each of the girl cousins couldn't wait to hold both of the babies at the same time. It was cute and they were all such a help! If I have another set of twins, I sure hope it is when Kate and Kara are at least 7 years old!! Think of all of the help they'd be!
Not the biggest fan of pets, especially shedding ones, but this is our cat Autumn. She has been in the family for years. I thought It was so funny how she loved to watch over the sleeping babies. This happened more than once, until Zach found her and chased her away and grabbed her tail! That happened more than once too. Nice kitty.
Zach loved this fountain. It was disgusting. I guess it was water from a nearby marsh that Dad brought for the g-kids so they could watch the tadpoles turn into frogs. I hope they survived.
May in Cali-For-Ni-A ... Day 2
Day 2
The second day we were there we went to the local Dejong's Dairy and hung out with "fun cousins" as Zach calls them. I guess the one's on Justin's side just aren't as fun! Only because none exist yet. :) It was so fun to watch him interact and play with all of them. I wish they lived closer. He LOVED the play time. He didn't watch ANY television or movies while he was there, except for a 1/2 hour the last day. THAT is awesome, fun, and NOT stay-in-the-house boring.
May in Cali-For-Ni-A ... Day 3
Day 3
Mom and Dad, affectionately known as Papa and Mare-Mare, (my mom's name is Mary) got home and we got to spend some fun time with them and with Jason and Kamry at the resort pool where they were staying. Again guys, thanks for the fun times and kid help!!
