I missed my 100th post, so I thought we could just celebrate the wonderful world of blogging and my 115th post by announcing that WE ARE HAVING ANOTHER BABY! :) We are thrilled to be adding to our family and making Zach a big brother. Another added bonus is that I will have my own personal heater for half of the winter. :) Gotta find some way to stay warm up here! I am 12 weeks now, due January 10, 2009, and the baby is sounding good with a heart rate of 162 last we checked. Does that mean it's a girl? We'll see in a few weeks...stay tuned!

Happy Daddy's Day!
Kayaking in La Jolla ("La Hoy-a")
What a fun day. Hours later, we were at the temple for Cody's first time through. It was so awesome to be there as an ENTIRE family.
More California
I love this weeping willow tree. We had my dad's retirement party out there under it the day before this was taken. This part of the yard has so much shade. I love it!
The newest addition to the backyard...no, it is not the Tijuana fountain, it is the HOT TUB! We all love that! Just thought I would add that Dad and all of us kids put the sheet rock (?), slabs, whatever here on the back porch circley thing. Thanks for teaching us to be handywomen Dad!

California Dreamin'
Zach loved going out to eat at Oscar's. Maybe because he played on this car while we ate! :) Cheap babysitter...
Here's a picture of me and my lil' bro Cody. He isn't so little anymore. We are here getting ready to ship him off to Calgary, Alberta, Canada in about a month. He goes through the temple on Friday! Yea Cody! Way to go. Well, I am off to enjoy some more sunshine!

It's Official!

As of today, I am proud to announce that after all the paperwork, phone calls, medical exams, photos, and fees I am officially a Permanent Resident of Canada! I had my "landing" interview today. That means I am basically a citizen, but I can't vote. I can work, come and go, do whatever...although I think I will just continue to do what I have been doing. It is great to have the paperwork over though.
A Dream Come True!
Today one of my wildest dreams came true. I went to Michael's and bought a tub of 101 cookie cutters! ...with my 40% off coupon of course. What a deal! I am so excited. There are all sorts of cookie shapes...all the numbers, letters, halloween, valentines day, random bears and trucks and duckies, a hand and foot, Christmas cookie cutters, and even Easter/Spring, flags and stars, circles, dinosaurs. I love it. AND they are all color coded. Nice.
...All at Zach's Expense
Zach survived his initiation as a Low boy today. We have fantastic pictures of Jason, Justin, and Richard with buzzed heads and their pants to their armpits when they were young, only that was for real. We even have video of Jason talking about his Christmas presents constantly hiking his pants closer and closer to his chin. Tonight we revisted the good ol' days and Zach seemed to like it! Not as much as Kamry though in the first picture! Gotta love it.
I'm a reader! I read! I'm reading! (courtesy of "What about Bob" only he's a sailor)

Well, I have started to read. The craze right now, so I hear, is Stephanie Meyers Twilight series. I love it! I read 2 books, both about 500 or more pages in less than 1 week! My house was a mess, but I read! I have always wanted to be well read for my children and teach them to love reading, so I thought I better set a good example. And what better to do that by then to read about vampires and love! Hopefully, I will move into the classics soon, but this is a start. Any other suggestions would be greatly appreciated! Until then, I look forward to reading book 3, then book 4 when it comes out August 2, and then to watching the movie on December 12!
