October Skies!

One night Justin was on call, kids were finally down, kitchen was a mess, but this little snuggler made himself at home and didn't want to be put down. So I didn't put him down. I sat there for hours snuggling him. I LOVE a sleeping baby propped on my chest. It is so soothing. Until they get really heavy and after a while begin to crush your lungs.

One of his first days actually getting clothes on. :) I love those little skinny frog legs drowning in what are supposed to be leggings! Ha ha!

Driving home from Lethbridge one day it was oober clear. I don't think I have ever seen that deep into the mountain range! Mind you this is an iphone picture through a dirty windshield, but I love our mountains on the horizon!
Another sleeping picture. Look at those lips! Don't let this fool you. At about 3 weeks this baby became a sleepless monster! It was pretty sad. He was super fussy and spit up a lot. And it was usually only me that could soothe him. Belly to belly and pat his bum and bounce. Or sometimes he would snuggle into Justin's neck pit and fall asleep. I tried to go off certain foods but didn't notice much of a difference. Not enough to make any changes at least! That is NOT easy!
Some more awesome examples of the garden carrots we grew. Here is Karen (Justin's 6'2 sister with legs up to her neck)!

And here are Justin and I. ;)

Randomly found some reading glasses at our house so Kate wanted to look like a librarian! :)

LOOONG toes. Miss those cute tiny feet.

I was feeling brave and sick of being housebound. We had beautiful weather the month of September and into October and I felt like I was really missing out on it because I was inside all day nursing my newborn, so we took a walk one day while Justin was at a fireside or something. I packed him up all snug in a carrier and he slept the entire time! Always will, as long as he is held.

Gotta love Zach's toothless mouth. They all wanted a picture with their branches. :)

Loving on my boy.

Here is a picture of them all at 1 month. Everett is in each corner and in the middle. I didn't think Zach looked like him at all until I saw this picture! Zach is top middle, Kate is right middle, Kara is bottom middle, and Addie is left middle.
Everett's 1 month pictures!!! He smiled for the iPhone one!

I love his blue eyes here. They are a gorgeous deep blue color.

Little sweetheart.
Getting bigger!
Another family walk to the creek beach. Man the girls are old!

Some really flattering shots taken by a kid. :)

Everett and Grandpa French at Aunt Carol's for Canadian Thanksgiving. He kept complimenting him on his "singing". :)

The kids always look out for their little bro. Go Jays.

Everett's really getting the silly face selfies down. Can you tell that most of my days are spent sitting, nursing, and taking picture of my baby?!

I made this for Justin's Dad for his birthday! What do you treat a diabetic with on their birthday? This! Treat ME to this!! The best. And it was actually really easy and I randomly had most everything except green grapes and my wonderful hubby ran down to the store and bought them so he could deliver them to him at lunch.

Ode to Adaleigh
You are so cute and happy, a dream of a girl to raise.
Please keep listening and loving, and keep that big smile across your face!

Filling out!!
I just needed a few pictures to remember the cute naked baby! This little face reminds me of a tired little sea turtle.

And I love this one because you can see his hairless widows peak dimple. :)

Starting to smile on cue!

Man, how many pics can I take of him just sitting in my lap? Here he is casting spells on me.

Meeting Cousin Grant for the first time! 7 weeks apart?

Are you kidding me?!!! The cutest little posing sleeper. He looks too perfect, his skin is like porcelain and so soft to the touch. and he is so still, and pale...I honestly check him to make sure he is still breathing. : /

iPhone pic warms him up a bit.

I surprised the girls with these Frozen costumes. They really wanted to be Anna and Elsa from Frozen, but I got them to choose something else since I couldn't find costumes anywhere for prices I wanted to pay, but then I found a great deal so I surprised them and they were SO happy!

As you can see Addie basically lived in it for the next few weeks!

We thought we would try potty training. She sat on that thing for hours to no avail! In the end we waited until January. She's cute though!

Amazing sunrises!
He is such a little sweetheart. A fussy little sweetheart, but just has a soft, kind look to him. A gentle giant.

First smiles!

Little cute face being calmed by Daddy. I love that man. :) Everett still has quite the ridged head and big soft spot as you can see.

And this little sneak...no Addie, that's NOT okay, but let me take a picture first.

We actually had a fall here! The trees were amazing! One Sunday morning it was just gorgeous. BLUE sky with puffy scattered clouds and I was feeling ambitious so I hurried and dressed the kids up and took them to the temple for pictures. I want to hang a picture of the temple in their rooms, but I want them in it to be more personal. Still haven't printed any of these, but I need to! After taking the pictures and wishing I knew what I was doing I randomly asked Justin's friend Ashley of Ashley Bennet Photography if she had ANY time to take family pictures for us and capture those gorgeous trees on fire! And she did!!! The next day! Yay!

Aren't the clouds awesome?

So beautiful. Man my girls are growing up! I wish I would have gotten a single of Kate too.

I love these ones! Sad I couldn't bring Everett out. He was in the car in his car seat asleep, and it was a bit chillier than I thought it was going to be! But look at these cuties!

And this proves he's got 3 loving sisters taking care of him. :) Pink blankie (which is a big deal that she shared!) and Kate's unicorn. :)
These are Justin's cousins...that are our kids ages! My kids LOVE when they come to town!
Happy Canadian Thanksgiving!

My kids always get such great shots when they are behind the camera. ;)

We had Justin's Dad for dinner and the right after went to get our family pictures done! That will be the next post.

THIS was the sky that night?!! AMAZING!!! And I remember after getting the pictures thinking that the pictures were way more dull than the real life, so you can only imagine! I need to learn how to shoot on manual.

Ha ha! Stress sleeping.
Here is Addie on her "step stool" she carries around and uses everywhere! It is the muffin carrier!

Still loves bath time!

Loves his siblings too! They sure are entertaining!
