Papa and Mer Mer visit!!!! And I turn 31!

Lucky kids got a visit from their Papa and Mer Mer!!! They were on an epic road trip and saw beautiful Banff and then came down to us. We LOVE having Papa and Mer Mer to visit. We don't get to see them often, but when they do get to come up here it is awesome because we have them all to ourselves!! Their phones don't even work in Canada...HA HA HA!!! ;)

This is why Mer Mer is so awesome. I remember she used to tell me stories of when she was a little girl and one of them was about weaving flowers into a crown. We went on a morning walk and they ended up gathering flowers and making crowns of their own.

This is one of my favorite pictures of all time. :) My mom and my girls. She is such an amazing mom and grandma. They ADORE her!

For my birthday I got my hair did! I've never dyed my hair. Proud of my virgin hair...but I am going grey! Already! Especially since I cut my bangs. Cut in just the right spot to show a crop of grey hair. And since living in Canada for 8 years now whenever I go home people ask if I've dyed my hair darker...nope! Just never see the sun! So I got some artificial sun in my hair to feel like a Californian again. :) It was fun and I felt very pampered! I felt like a woman. Like it was some rite of passage or something. HA!

Just a lighter me!

My birthday! the big 3-1! Mom gave me that shirt, and I got a real massage gift certificate for Justin (that I still haven't used 8 months later?! But Papa and Mer Mer are coming this week and so I finally scheduled my massage for while they are here!)

Kate. Ha ha! Happy birthday to me!

Papa and Mer Mer also bought Everett and me matching onesie jammies!! I had a red pair of jammies I lost when we lost our luggage. :( Now Everett and I match! Zach was feeling left out so he went and put some red jammies on too.
And yes the flap works... :)

Pretty cute little bear cub crawling around. :)

My mom and Dad. :) I love them and miss them so much.

Waterton!

WATERTON!!! I love Waterton and I love living close to Waterton. It's just beautiful.
Here we are on a stroll by the marina with Bear's Hump behind us. 10 years prior to this Justin asked me to marry him at the top of Bear's Hump! It's been a decade?! Like our "double" stroller? :)

Girls saw another picture happening and had to jump in again. ;)

Hiking with cousins up Bear's Hump!

We made it! They did pretty good. 1st cousins once removed! :)
2005...

2015!
10 years, 5 kids, 4 homes, 3 degrees, 2 fun, 1 tired Mama. But I love it and them!
Justin hiking with the baby in 2015...

And 4 month old Baby Zach in 2007! I can't decide who looks more like a baby...Zach or Justin!! Amazing what 8 years can do!

Sleeping in the pack and play with 2 soothers. :) He loves his soothers.

Aw. This year we hiked a lot more than usual. Yay for kids growing up! They still whine, but we know they can do it! :) Having other cousins with them helps a lot. Here is our hike to Bertha Falls.

Zach had to do some business...he does not condone the taking of this picture.
Snuggly, tired baby.

I wanted a picture with this dude on that rock because I had one with 4 month old Zach on the same one...(Well upon further inspection I think it's the rock below. But those kind of details only matter to Zach and I.)
2007 with Baby Zach!
2015 with Big Baby Zach! :)
Bertha Falls behind us. I love it because it's kinda a horizontal falls on the side of the mountain.
What a cute family.

This boy was THE CUTEST thing to watch while hiking. 25 lbs bouncing up and down the whole hike!

This girl made it most of the way, but sometimes I'd carry her for 10 steps or so, especially on the way back. :)

Just kept checking on me. :)
And he is finally out!

Look at those chubby cheeks.

And another short hike into Blakiston Falls!

My favorite place in Waterton is Red Rock Canyon and Zach and I hiked back quite a way. It is GORGEOUS! But no pics because I was too busy exploring!!

Addie was spoiled with girl cousins this year. Echo with Anne and Faye and Waterton with Avery!
These girls are way to cute together. I wish they didn't live so far away!
