Christmas Eve

For Christmas Eve we had a nice dinner and a program with scriptures and songs telling the story of our Savior's birth. It was pretty special to be with all of the family, even Brian and Julie and the girls via Skype!

The kids real enthused about Christmas Eve and jammies...another picture. At least Addie gave us a real one. These are the jammies my mom made them. I love them!

Soon after the jammie picture Jaxson fell into the tree, knocking it down! Victory. 

 

The rescue efforts. Ha ha!!! It was tilting for the rest of the night, but Santa must have fixed it because the next day it was great.

Leslie made shirts for all of the grand kids. They turned out so cute! She made them a "new team" to cheer for since all of their basketball playing kids are now out of the house. On the front it has a basketball that says "Team Low" with "Grandma and Grandpa's Dream Team" around it. She made them with iron on vinyl! Pretty cool.

Jace, Jason and Kamry's youngest (for a few more months at least!) is a really funny kid. He was trying SO HARD to put on this other shirt by himself. :)

Right after we opened the gift, a surprise visitor came. SANTA!!! And it was a surprise for everyone! So magical. I BELIEVE!

 

Adaleigh is just entering that "you are a stranger" stage. A stranger with a crazy hat. Where's my mom?!

Kate right after rubbing her chin while saying "That's not the real Santa, that's just a guy in a suit. Isn't it??" :) I don't know Kate. He looked pretty real to me and appeared magically!!

 

Jace was so funny! All the kids were posed for a picture but he could not take his eyes off of Santa! He stood there just staring at him! Pretty cute.

Once on Pintrest there was a pin on how to make your tree glow, so I played with my camera settings like they said and made it a bit more glowey. I LOVE CHRISTMAS.

And at night, when everything is quite I love to just sit in the living room and look at the tree, listen to quiet Christmas music, and be sentimental. This year we saw a lot of heartache and struggles with so many people that we love. Life has seemed too real at times. I miss the innocence of youth where I was basically oblivious to hard things. I know that is no way to live life, but it was easier than feeling so helpless and not in control. Throughout this year we have ultimately found strength and answers only in our testimonies of Jesus Christ and in the beliefs we have through His restored gospel. There is a Plan. Heavenly Father knows all and is in control and can help us. Our Savior suffered and died for us so he could take away pain and sorrow and allow us to live with Him again and so that he could understand everything we go through on Earth and help us through our trials. I am so grateful for the gospel and for a Savior. I am grateful for hope and faith in him. I am so grateful for his birth that we celebrate at Christmas time.

Zach's Christmas Concert

How could we forget to post about Zach's concert? Oh yeah...probably because I was home alone that night with the kids while Justin was on call, but got everyone ready and to the concert with my video camera and regular camera in tow, both batteries charged and ready to go. I am so good. I went to turn on my camera to take a picture of my cute little kindergartener and the message flashes "No Card". WHAT?!?!?!?! I FORGOT THE STINKING CAMERA CARD IN MY COMPUTER FROM DOWNLOADING PICTURES THE NIGHT BEFORE TO CLEAR IT!!!!!!! Grrr. And I had no back up card with me. So sad. I was pretty mad. We got a couple videos and picture with the iPhone. Well, Kate and Kara took them for us since they could sit closer. Budding photographers. :) The memory will just have to be mostly in my head...my favorites were seeing Zach as a shepherd, The Panda Dance, and the Nutcracker paper plate band. That was hilarious. :)

 

This was the best part of the paper plate band. They were supposed to be the Mouse King or something in the Nutcracker. It was so cute watching them follow Miss Pati.

"Yes I am a Panda Bear..." It all made sense when I saw this dance finally. They had practiced for weeks and I would hear little snippets from it after school, but I didn't know what he was talking about. So great.

The Girls are FOUR!!?!!!?!!

 
Their miracle cakes. So glad they turned out!! I like to go out on a limb and think I can do things. I really should have taken a picture of the back side of Cinderella (in her pink dress) her booty was falling down! It worked though...

...and they LOVED them!!! I love impressing my children. Doesn't really take much though. Even more so I love impressing my husband, and I did!

 

 

I really can't believe they are 4!! That's old! They are fun, funny, loud, personable, thoughtful girls.

Kate got Skully from Jake and the Neverland Pirates. I love that she always likes the different things...like spiderman facepaint, or a big sparkling snake, or Skully the Parrot over a beautiful princess. Not that she doesn't like princesses...she loves them, but she isn't afraid to be herself.
 

Kara wanted the Rapunzel wedding soft princess. She loves Tangled.

Grandma Low got them the cutest dress up Minnie dolls. It was awesome because I really wanted to get them for the girls, but never found them adn Cynthia did without me even saying anything. Good pick Grandma! They love them!!

Kate and Talia. This Christmas all the Low kids (except Julie and Family) came to Cardston for Christmas. It was SO fun! We had 9 grandkids 5 and under. It was fun that they are finally at an age where they can play together and enjoy it! MOVE CLOSER COUSINS!!!!!!!!!

This makes me happy. Our house is usually loud, rambunctious, busy, and can be a bit crazy, but this picture just reminds me of Christmas and love and how blessed I am with a great hubby and good kiddos. Merry Christmas!

The Best Toy!

Little Miss Adaleigh has become the favorite toy around out place. One day Zach was having fun pulling her around on this bean bag. She loves the attention too and LOVES her siblings!
 

Another day, I walked into Addies room after her nap and found Kate in there playing with her making her laugh so hard!

 

  

 

 

We are all smitten. Pretty easy to be!

Great Grandma and Grandpa Low!

 We were in Cardston on Great Grandma Low's 86th birthday so we stopped by and visited with both Great Grandma and Grandpa.

Great Grandpa has Alzheimers. He may not have been super sure who we were, but he was sweet with Addie, singing to her and playing with her. He is such a good man. 

Funny of Adaleigh, but Grandpa looked so good, so I had to post this picture too. I think this is his frist time meeting Addie.
