The Verdict...

They were all twiins!

A Dozen Twiins? We'll See!

This is a weird post I know, I knew that when I took this picture! Something crazy happened though. We only cracked 5 eggs! I think we may have a dozen eggs of twins! It was so weird after the first one, then we saw the second and were amazed. By the third we expected it to be twins, and by the fifth it was just plain spooky! We will report on the other seven eggs. We assume we just got a great deal!

Zach's Walking . . . kind of!

California, Here We Come!

Zach was so good on the airplane. Luckily both flights were pretty empty so we had our own row! (I did kind of miss nursing Zach while smashed between an overweight smelly man and a cranky woman though! There will be other flights.)
Zach's first adventure in CA was a nice dip in the "warm tub." He was so relaxed he fell asleep right on me! That doesn't happen very often.
Later Justin joined us down there and we all went to Balboa Island. That is where my parents met. Justin got an honorary Balboa Ferry t shirt to commemorate this special day. We went on a little harbor cruise (up here in canada it is a harbour) where they showed us all the multi-million dollar houses and yachts and who owned them. We also went out to the ocean and saw some sea lions on a bouy. It was fun.
Here is a classic ocean picture. That is a boat, a pelican, and the buoy with all of the lazy sea lions basking in the sun on it.
To finish off the day we walked around the island and went to the Boat Parade. There were very creatively decorated houses and boats. It was fun.

Beach Photo Shoot

Christmas!

Here was our beatiful tree. I loved it because we put it up on a table making it harder for Zach to reach!
Here is us at Magic Mountain. Justin had never been on these Big Kid rides before. He's been to Disneyland and all, but this isn't Disneyland! I am just happy he didn't throw up on me and I didn't wet my pants! Wow! They were a lot more intense than I remember, but we had a blast. We went with friends from Edmonton that were down visiting. We did baby swap. Both Zach's loved watching the rollercoasters ZOOOOM by. I am pretty sure they were the only babies there all day.
Zachary the Red-nosed baby!
Okay, so he's not a newborn anymore. Maybe I will have a Christmas baby someday.
After opening his stocking. Give me more!
Justin carving roast. What a cute Santa!

Zach got to be baby Jesus in the cousin Navity program. He was great! Just relaxing there with his cookie! I am sure one of the wisemen brought teething biscuits!

That night we loaded up a decorated trailer and went caroling through a nearby neighborhood. It was great!

Here are Grammy and Papa with all 18 grandkids! There is one on the way too. (No, I am not pregnant, my sister-in-law is with their 7th child!)

And here is Mom and Dad with ALL of their posterity. This is as fancy of a family picture we can get with all of these kids! I love it.

San Diego and Saying Goodbye

Here is a really cool museum you can go to in San Diego. It is an aircraft carrier with tons of war planes and a simulator.
Justin probably won't be to thrilled that this is on here...but I couldn't resist! She who maintains the blog gets to design it! There was this awesome statue in San Diego of the famous post-WWII picture. I told Justin it would make my year if he posed for a picture with me. My year was made! Oh, and don't worry, we aren't really kissing, I promise! :) Thanks honey! I love you!

Here we are saying goodbye to Nanny, my dad's mom. Zach loves her wheelchair.
Here we are bright and early on New Year's day. We stayed up until 12:30 to ring in the New Year, slept until 3:45 AM and then went to the airport to catch our plane that left at 6:50. I promise I am not hung over and there is no alcohol in that orange juice. I was just extremely exhausted. Apparently so was Zach.
And here is the lovely view out of my window as we were landing in Edmonton. Yuck. -13 C with a windchill factor of -110 I am sure. It was awful. With that said, I really am happy to be home. I just wish it wasn't so cold. Only 4 months until spring...hopefully!

Karen's so Funny!

Karen is pretty funny! It is ironic that Richard (the filmer) says not once but twice, something about how she's killing him. :)Don't worry, he was just fine right after and started laughing again.

Zach's New Trick!

Still Think he looks like Justin?

Everyone says Zach looks just like Justin. What do you think?

Here is Amelia at about 8 months I would guess. I don't know Mom, how old was I here? That shows some Zach, eh?
Here I am again. Not as Zach-like as the first picture, but still has some traits for sure.

Here's Justin. I think Zach definitely has Justin's eyes.
Here is Justin when he was little again. My FAVORITE picture of him. So, what do you think?
