The Newest Addition to our Family!!

Here is the newest addition to our family! It is our new-to-us minivan!!! YAY! It's a 2005 Honda Odyssey. It is surprisingly quite clean in this picture too. The roads are all disgusting and slushy, but I will take it because that means it has been warm enough for snow to melt!

A lot of people think of the term "minivan mom" as a bad thing. I couldn't be happier!! (as seen by this picture). This is our first drive as a family in our van. I LOVE IT! So roomy and convenient.
The Dad, figuring it all out.The kids. Believe it or not, Zach is "smiling". This is the face he does whenever the camera comes out. Silly boy.
Zach really wanted me to put the rubber band in his hair. So I did! He also found a bobby pin and carried it around in his mouth like this. I think it is what he sees me do right before I put them in my hair. Silly kid.

Even with a ponytail, he is definitely a boy as he runs around the house with his wrench "fixing" things.

Too precious. I LOVE this site...sleeping babies.Sweet little Kara.
Pretty sleeping Kate (gotta love those lips!)

Too cute!

Just chillaxin' on the couch with their pink bunny slippers. Love it!

Disgusting!

So, this isn't what it looks like. Really!! I was holding Kara and putting a DVD in the player and all of a sudden felt really warm down there. I was really confused, because I know I didn't do anything, but didn't hear Kara poop or anything either. Then I remembered, Kara has a tendency to hold her poops in, and then just let it all out in one go. She must have done this earlier, sealing the diaper absorbency thus directing the urine right out of the full diaper. Yuck!

The (cute) Culprit

The Joys of Motherhood. (I don't know what is more disgusting, the diaper, or my very tired looking face! I need to sleep...)

Once There Was A Snowman...

Love this picture!!Zach and Auntie Kamry playing in the snow. She would make snowballs for him and he would throw them, or should I say drop them, to the ground.

This kid loves to eat snow. When it was too cold to go outside, we caught him eating snow off of our shoes and the back door mat. Disgusting! Now that he can go outside, he is in HEAVEN!
Result...a frozen chin and rosey cheeks.

THE MAKING OF OUR SNOWMAN!!

Is he hugging it?
Is he kissing it?

NOPE! He is biting and eating it! Of course!

Good placement Zach!

I love this picture. A proud boy and his snowfriend.

This Week in the Life of the Lows

It was finally decent enough for Zach to be able to venture outside in the snow. He LOVES going outside and playing in the snow. Sad thing is, there have been 1 or 2 days where we have let him go outside. We just don't want him to lose any fingers or toes yet!
Pure joy. So cute. He can barely move in that suit.
The girls cuddling on the couch. Again. Double duty. Giving them their Vitamin D.

Zach's buddy Sebastian came from Calgary to visit. They had a great time!
A little akward, yes. At least they missed lips! Yikes. The dads don't look too thrilled. If only those boys knew what they just did! :)

Looks like a good place for a nap! Usually, if this happens, Kate will start to suck on Kara's head. It is so funny. Any skin that touches their faces, they are SURE it is food!Siblings...
Zach helping out. He is very good with them. He NEVER took a soother as a baby, but now thinks they are the coolest things ever. Imagine that.

Just one more shot for you all. Kara and Kate are 3 weeks old already! I can't believe it! Really, they are much cuter in person. Come and see! PLEASE! Winter up here can be a little monotonous!

Growing!

I know, a lame no-picture post, but I just thought that I would share the great news that my babies are growing! :) I went to their 2 week appointment yesterday and Kate weighed 6 lbs 14 oz and Kara weighed 7 lbs 4 oz! Yay!! That means they both have gained about a half pound! My cute little chunkers...

Random Holiday Shots

Our 2 sets of twins... ;)

Buddha Babies

"Come on sis!"
I love open eyes! (During the day that is...)

They were both hungry. REALLY hungry.

Kate definitely has Grandpa Low's hairline (and Justin's). I guess right now we could say Kara has Grandpa Crippen's too! ;) Love you Dad!

Blessing Day

On December 31, 2008 we were able to bless Kate and Kara at home with ALL of Justin's family (minus Elder Robbie) and my parents too. It was so nice. My mom made the dress/gown for each of them. They had the prettiest silky blankets with their names embroidered on them made by a family friend back at home (here is her site...Kennedy Grace...http://www.etsy.com/shop.php?user_id=5687967 Cute stuff!. They looked beautiful. Justin gave beautiful blessings and you could really feel the Spirit in our home. We are SO grateful and so blessed to have these two wonderful little girls to raise. I hope we do a good job!
