A New Year-January!

This is how Zach came home from Kindergarten after the first day back to school! Ha ha. They had quite the party, including a kiss on the cheek from each of his teachers!

Our neighbor Grandparents, Dean and Alice, always bring suckers to the kids. Good thing, they don't get enough candy/sugar! :) I loved seeing Kate kicking back in the snow sucking on her sucker. What a great winter day. :)

That lovely neighbor also came over and snowblowed (?) our very long and awkward driveway! Love him! We got quite a dump of snow, the third big dump of they year and Justin was in Medicine Hat at a conference for the weekend. Convenient, hon. ;) Actually he has been gone for 2 of the 3 dumps we've had! Lucky me!! Really though, Dean is wonderful and snowblowed/blew it without me asking. I love neighbors. :)

My little snowbabies.

Zach showing off his awesome applesauce container stacking skills. Pretty impressive!

And a new year called for new chore/duty list. I knew Zach would LOVE this and he did. I made a simple picture chart of what they need to do to get ready for the day and they slide the magnet from the job to the check when it is done. Well, Zach really likes tasks and completing them, so he brushed his sisters' teeth for them to speed along the process. :)

What a bro.
