It was a real treat having all the kids with their kids at Justin's home...except we really missed Julie and her gang. It was nice and pretty relaxing this year. All the babies from 2 years ago were 3 year- olds now and ready to play! All the cousins had a ball and played with each other. It was really fun to watch! Especially since on my side there are SO many older cousins to play with, but on Justin's side our kids are the oldest, so it is fun that we are gaining in numbers and in age and the kids can all play relatively well together now. And Zach even had a boy to play with! Jaxson-the boy of all boys, a.k.a. Captain America, and Zach loved playing together. It was great.
A FREEZING cold winter hot tub day. It was super cold. And yes, they did end up dunking all of their hats. Little Boogers. Mommy said don't take them off your head. :)
Here he is, Captain America himself. I stole this-and many other pictures-from Joanie. Looking at this now it looks really funny because it is Jaxson's body with a teeny-tiny Jason head on it. HA! ...or maybe it is just getting late...
He got the Captain America shield for Christmas. Best present ever. Now he can stop using the plastic pot lid he was using to pose all day long.
And here is Kara, the baby whisperer, at the French Family Reunion
The Baby Bar.
:)
And of course there has to be a dance party! Stole these pics from Joanie too. This year every one was clothed. Even if they were on backwards. :)
Zach couldn't resist. I don't know if Jason put him up to this or what, but he had to relive the diaper dance of 2010.
And Jace's moves topped them all. He was so cute. Justin said he reminded him of Kermit the frog when they show him walking. It was so cute.

Another hot tub day! This time it was warm enough (meaning not -18 outside) that I joined.

And these crazies ran and rolled in the snow like they were 14 again. It was pretty awesome. They even got Kara and Zach to do it. Jason said he'd give them a dollar if they went and ran and rolled in the snow. Justin doubled that. :) Zach was loving it. He started asking us to throw the balls all the way to the fence so he could run and get it. It always burned him so bad when he got back in, but he kept doing it! Kate was smarter. She wanted the dollar, but did NOT want to lay down and roll in the snow. She finally went and walked in circles in a small patch of snow.
Kate with the doll that Papa and Bama gave her for Christmas. Kate LOVES horses, so this was great.
And Kara with her new friend...I mean doll that grandma gave her. This doll is HUGE! And scares me often. It is like a 5th child! We played with her a bit over Christmas...hiding her in places and then freaking people out...It started in Karen's bathroom. I put her at the sink, looking at the door. Kamry walked in and saw her and it freaked her out! Crazy big eyed doll staring at you when you turn the light on as she washes her hands. HA! Then she ended up "watching over" my babies in our room over Addie's crib. Creepy. Then we decided to play the trick on Brian and Cynthia...in their bathroom. On the toilet...HA!!
Looked WAY creepier/more funny in person. We got Cynthia. HA! Afterward she got in on the trick! We got Brian with the sink trick and scared him. Then the next morning we snuck into Karen's room and she was standing at her bedside staring at her when she awoke. HA!! So So So creepy. I was leery, walking around corners trying to expect her as she traveled around the house. She made it on top of the cupboards in the kitchen, just around the corner, in the laundry room...
In Benson's crib...
...in Jason and Kamry's car while they were loading up...
...in Benson's high chair...and last but not least in Alvin's bed (that's Karen's new fiance! First time we met him...ha!) down at Grandma's house!! I never really heard his reaction to that!! Ha ha!!! Fun times. Now she is at my house. I got Justin with her once and then feared that he would get me back! She stays in Kara's room now. Yikes.
A much cuter dolly and her daddy. :)
A little snowy trampoline fun. Justin is on there with the kids...chucking a snowball at me. See it? He hit the door like 5 times. Good thing his mom wasn't home. He would have gotten the wooden spoon for sure!
