While home I like to get together with old friends and play volleyball!!! I organized a EHS Volleyball Alumni night and we played. It was so fun to see those who could come and reconnect! we had a couple from Class of '93 and '95 (my sisters...) and then a bunch of '00-04 girls. It was a fun night, and we were all pretty good still! It was also funny to see the serves and passing done in the exact style that they used to be done in if that makes any sense. Each person totally moved the same as they used to.

My sister Carrie. 5 kids later and still awesome.

2 liberos jousting?? Ha ha! Jolene actually really impressed me with her hitting and blocking skills. Tiny 5'4" girl can hold her own!
And this pansy hit by yours truly is funnier in the next picture...check out Lauren in the bottom left corner in this picture AND...
My BFF/neighbor since I was 9 months old. Basically my twin, except she was always a head shorter and 50 lbs lighter. Still is!! Ha! Love you Jolene!
And my babies.
It was soo great to catch up with who and hear all about who works where, has how many kids, married, still plays...good times. May there be even more next time!
A few days later I met up with my neighbor/friend that also played volleyball with me. Heidi (Smith) Benson! And yes...all those kids are ours. Mostly mine. How did this happen. She has 2 and is pregnant with a 3rd. She is such a doll to come visit because she was feeling SOOO sick that morning, but wanted to come see me and our old coach so she braved the hour drive. Thanks Heidi!
Here we are at Baja Fresh with our volleyball coach...YUM. Robe was actually diagnosed with colon cancer and is fighting hard.
One more pic with the lovely Heidi and her adorable kiddos before she left.
And one more pic with my volleyball coach. He coached ALL of my sisters and me. He was hard core and scary (used to be a football coach before coaching volleyball. Ran us like crazy). He intimidated me, but was also the nicest, most caring guy on the side. It was hard to walk away because it really could be the last time I see him with how fast his cancer is progressing. He has done so much in his life to help so many people as a coach and teacher and just a few months ago they named the court in the Gym after him! "Roberson Court" painted on the floor. What a tribute. We all love you Robe! It was so good to check in with you!
